This game really had a little bit of everything. A refreshing Claymation style, simple but really fun mechanics, and just a great sense of humor and polish.

2nd Place:

This was super hard to pick, but Ozrks colors and style just kept me coming back. In-fact all his Robot and android designs are something to behold, please give this dude a follow.

3rd Place:

absolutely nuts rendering of p-Bot,and the fact that its hand drawn is wild, love the subtle shading in all his colors.

Over a decade ago I made a progress post showing the work that went into my MindChamber figure.. I want to use this post as my progress blog for my new Figure, which has been pretty much redesigned completely since then. The only difference is Ill be making him in 3D and printing out the pieces.. Im hoping that having Robot Day as a solid deadline, will keep me pushing foward until this bad boy is done..

Heres a really rough test print of his head.. Rotation sketches coming soon.

Tiny MC Update Tried to work on the Torso this sunday, but wrestled more with my wacom drivers.. more hopefully this week..

In the story MC Was originally designed as a Mech, but his original body doesn't represent that well.. He needs to look like almost an empty husk when hes not 'occupied' with a Pilot

Is that something anyone is interested this year?. @tom was thinking sometime in August.. I pitched the Idea of the 26th..

Curious what anyone else thinks.Its a month away.. .. Shouldnt interfere with Clock day, and would still be a month away from Madnessday.. I could throw in some prizes too.. nothing crazy though, Lol Im on a budget.

Last Year Robot Day almost fell off the map,but thanks to the efforts of  EigiBeast, and the love and effort of a handful of artist who submitted some great work, we were able to keep RobotDay for 2017. Figured it's time I picked up the ball and ran with it this year. Its a great day that definitely deserves the push. So here we go. Let go for a 'Robot Day 2018!!
I'd like to keep the orginal day of July 10th, which only gives you two months to create, but think of the tight deadline as an opportunity to create some quality yet short, impactful art!. (always wanted to make a badass robot walkcycle? here's your chance!)

Just make sure to tag your art,cartoon, song,or game with ROBOTDAY2018
You'll notice Tom chose A Robot theme for the next round of jams.

Even Though I have a 9-5 that can sometimes kill my nights, I wouldnt mind jaming on a small game, if its simple enough.

I actually have this unused Samurai A  vector sprite that's collecting dust..just needs a few changes and some color swaps... I was thinking basically of a runner type game,  where you jump on enemies, jump over fire pits,  etc. and maybe air  attack-combo floating enemies to keep you going over  large firey pits.

Sup all, Happy Robot Day to all.. Threw up a Sketch of Ol MindChamber. Its a kinda of a sneak peak to his slight redesign, (mostly just the face, chest and arms)  In the process of drawing up a new rotation of him ,should be fun.
